No Dollars to Uyghur Forced Labor Act (H.R. 1724)
The “No Dollars to Uyghur Forced Labor Act” (H.R. 1724) was introduced on February 27, 2025, by Congressman Nathaniel Moran (R-TX).

The full title is: “To prohibit the use of funds supporting any activities within the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People’s Republic of China.”
The bill prohibits the use of any US government funds for activities abroad involving the purchase of goods produced in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (XAUR).
This bill:
- Prohibits the use of any US Department of State or USAID funds for purchasing goods produced in the XUAR
- Requires annual reports to the House Foreign Affairs Committee and the Senate Foreign Relations Committee detailing any activities carried out in violation of the bill and any enforcement challenges
- Defines “forced labor” in alignment with the definition in Section 307 of the Tariff Act of 1930
