U.N. expert says minorities suffer slavery in China’s Xinjiang

On Wednesday, lawyers for the World Uyghur Congress and the Uyghur Human Rights Project filed a landmark criminal complaint against Chinese officials in Buenos Aires over the Xinjiang claims.

The submission will be considered by a judge and could potentially lead to Argentina hearing what would be the first international court case against China over claims of genocide and rights violations in Xinjiang.
