Uyghurs, Tibetans, Chinese protest Xi’s White House visit

On September 16, 2015, the week before Chinese Communist Party leader Xi Jinping is scheduled to visit the White House, Students for a Free Tibet, the Tibet Action Institute, and Initiatives for China organized a protest uniting Uyghur, Tibetan, and Chinese voices to call attention to human rights violations before the visit. This footage features Tibet Action Institute Director Lhadon Thethong and UHRP Director Alim Seytoff.
