Nowruz, the Spring holiday celebrated throughout Central Asia, is a time of renewal, unity, and hope—values that resonate deeply as we honor the rich cultural traditions of the Uyghur people and advocate for Uyghurs’ fundamental human rights. This event will feature:

  • Remarks: Policymakers and advocates, on the importance of taking action to end the Uyghur genocide
  • Reception: Uyghur cuisine
  • Performance: Uyghur cultural performance
